Usually offense, and I hold my tongue if we're in public; I'd probably swear if I had the opportunity. From then on, if I have to see them on a daily basis, I just be nice and then don't converse with them more than a "Hello." If someone's going to be a jerk, why should I waste my time with them?

I try not to show it, but I feel hurt inside. Hold my head up, smile, and stay very quiet. Then go home and try to figure out why that person acted that way.
