yes,
it hurts worse than it sounds,
it never really heals....
and the scars are inevitable... i cant trust because of the scars

Of course. It's something we all have to go through at one time or another. It feels like someone rips your heart out and stomps on it right there infront of it. It took a long time before it was completely healed, but then I was ready to love again. I`ve always been ready, i have never really closed myself off to a new Love. No matter how much it hurts, it WILL pass, you just have to be willing to let go.
No, it did not leave any scars.

Sure have, the pain was none which I have ever felt nor would like to feel again. The healing process depends on how deep you got shot, but time does heal the wounded heart and becomes stronger. =)

It really hurt. It lasted about 2 weeks. Still have scars from it

Yes.
It took about 3 months for me to get my "life" back. I was miserable. And the lasting scar, in my case, would be that I can't and won't give my "all" to anyone anymore.
This is my life and no one's getting in.

Yeah... about 3 months and it leaves permanent and deep scars.

yes---it started healing in about 3days and no scars--just memories and I know what not to look for now
