Most animals have evolved to allow them to eat most anything not directly toxic or poisonous, such as carrion or even live prey without becoming ill. If an animal in the wild became sick every time it ate something dead, or something live that may have been ill, that animal would die off, according to evolutionary theory. Because humans usually cook their food (especially meat) before eating it, most of the potentially pathogenic bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, etc., are killed before the food is eaten. And, yes, there are differences in the digestive tracts, enzymes, even organs, among different animals, permitting one species to eat or digest something which would sicken or be of no nutritional value to another.

Not all humans get sick from such food. In fact, many of the recipes that we have are based on spoiled meat which was disguised with spices.
It depends on what you mean by "food". Prey who kill animals usually try to eat it as soon as possible. Whatever they miss goes on to the vultures and hyenas which do have a strong stomach. Then it is bug and bacteria time.

Because animals have built up immunity towards the microorganisms in the food because they eat it all the time, for animals such as vultures who feed on rotting corpses they have very strong stomach acid to kill the microorganisms present

animals immune system is so much greater than humans. for exp an elephant can drink from a lake filled with urine, poo and parasites and still not get sick, but if we drink week old water from a cup we get sick.
