Is he your husband or boyfriend? Hubby tell him during a romantic dinner at home. boyfriend, no guarantee he won't spook for awhile, but plan something intimate for the two of you and tell him. most men are in shock mode at first. Reality hits them later when they see the tummy growing and see the tummy moving and see the ultra sound of the baby. Men need to see it to solidify for them.

Is this your husband or boyfriend? Either way, he better take it seriously. There is nothing funny about having a child on the way. Are you afraid that he will run? If he does, he wasn't worth it was he. Just tell him you are pregnant. He will either be happy, or he will deny it is his. You should take it seriously as well. See your doctor. Find out about how far along you are, and take care of yourself.

Without knowing him no one here has any right to speculate. You can't generalize about whether all men will take it seriously or not. Some do, some don't. You know him better than anyone here, no one has a better answer than you and he. Stop wasting time and talk to him about it, the one thing I can say is that he has a right to know about it.

All men take it seriously! The question is what will he do after you tell him? This depends on If he wants a child, if you two are serious, what age you are, and if you want the child!!!!!!

I just called my hubby at work yesterday.

I said "Hi, father for the 2nd time"

I couldn't wait to tell him, but then again, he is my best friend. My husband would get mad if I didn't include him immediately.

He said he already knew I was pregnant, because he was having pregnancy symptoms already...haha!

Depends on if you are married or not and if he wants kids or not...I hope you have at least discussed that before you got pregnant though. Good Luck! All you can do is just tell him!

You are going to just have to come out and tell him. When you do, make sure you tell him how you are feeling about it, that will help in him taking it seriously.

Good Luck!!
