I don't know why but I'm just not a shy person. I can get up in front of 500 people and give a speech or even do comedy and never even think twice. I have different family and friends that just "freeze" at the thought of public speaking. And I think it's fun. Does it bother you to be put on the spot in front of a crowd?

not at all...I freeze up..get nervous..can;t make eye contact & go up there & make a complete fool of myself...
& then I beat myself up for it later...lol

I'm an extrovert, I love being with people, I'm sociable and love to laugh and have a great time. I want others to have a great time too! But put me in front of a roomful of people, and I can't handle it. I definitely do not do well with public speaking. Never have. So, I don't seek it nor do I look for opportunities to do so. Yes, it would put me in a very awkward situation if I just had to. I'd still not want to.

Nope! I guess you could say I'm the family ham! I've sang in front of people since I was able to and I suppose I just love the thrill! My last engagement was at the Mahaffey Theater and it was one of the most awesome feelings in the world to stand and hear the applause in a packed house! My shyness doesn't involve tons of people..... for me it's more a one on one thing.

i guess i'm one of those people who can. i used to perform in a jazz band i played trombone. and i love the audience currently i will be working with Congressman Baca on the election for 08 so i better be able to speak to people??

no, just not no h*ll no, must have been something that happened in school when I was young or something but i hate speaking in public..ask A R ..he helped me through a tough time recently...jeesh ...I got goose bumps just answering this question..
