or dress like the opposite sex or call people names or words that would only be used for the opposite sex. Its all very confusing.

Gay men, masculine or effiminate or whatever, going after masculine guys, is pretty much the norm in the gay community, its really a cliche for gay men to say they want a "real man" at this point.
Lesbians are less black and white, some like butches some don't.
But at the end of the day no one sex "owns" any pattern of behavior that the opposite sex is also capable of. Men or women can be "masculine", "feminine", both, neither, or something else entirely, no one has a right to claim masculinity or femininity and accuse people of other gender orientations of imitating them.

not all gay people dislike the opposite sex. some straight people dislike the opposite sex. i am not gay, but ive known a lot of gay people of both sexes. i took a four day trip with a gay lady friend once. it was great. all the gay women i knew had male friends, some of these friends were gay, most weren't. some of the gay guys adored women..to have sex with them would have been defilement of the goddess. other gay men hated women or/and were terrified of them. a few actually just hated everybody, which would have included themselves. hope this helps degeneralize things.

Overgeneralizing.... wanting asking, being instructed or possibly seeing them in a romantic context with yet another guy or woman of the comparable intercourse you may't comprehend a man or woman is gay what's perhaps going on is called expectancy bias, you spot what you anticipate to very probably you spot men appearing like the choice intercourse and characteristic them to being gay extremely than being immediately which confirms the stereotype you have come to anticipate i'm no longer faulting it, that's in simple terms that fact biases are extremely trouble-free and you have think of intently approximately what you base your conclusions on

I like my men masculine. Some people prefer the feminine gentlemen. It is all a matter of taste. Men acting like women is a stereotype, pure and simple.
If you are straight does that mean you wouldn't date a female athlete? In your eyes, wouldn't that be like you dating the same sex?

I don't go for people who act like the opposite sex, I'm a real femenine type of girl and I like femenine girls. Don't group everyone together.

That's a pretty wrong generalization. I am all man. I don't act feminine in any way, and I don't like guys who do. I like men that act and look like MEN.

i am a lesbian and i am also a tomboy. i like girls that are similar to me, meaning tomboys, but that doesn't mean that i like the girls that look like guys ( butch ). it isn't really that they act like the opposite sex. i am a tomboy but i still act like a girl and have feminine qualitues, and that is what i look for in a girl. this is just me though.

Different people have different . Not all gay men like men who are effeminate. There are plenty of masculine men who enjoy other masculine men out there.
