Has anyone else ever seen this when they try to play a DVD on their PC? Since I did a format it does it with all my dvds. The DVD drive didnt come with an installation disc, it installed itself. Any ideas?

try realplayer plays more dvd than windows can get it from download.com

It could be a problem with your dvd drive, maybe the region coding was set wrong:

But what I would do first is see if VLC player can play it. VLC can play anything, usually. It's much better than windows media player, plus it is free and open source:

Right click on the DvD file goto properties, advance and see ifs the "content is protected"?
