More than likely, you are ovulating. Typically, women ovulate 14 days before their periods, but I have a shorter luteal phase and I ovulate about 10 days before my period.

Not every woman has the typical 28 day cycle.

you don't get periods while pregnant.
you are having menstrual cramps. pmdd or pms.
and if you have had several periods and think you are preg how far along were you planning to get before getting a preg test to find out for sure
