there is no more fish food... they are starving..... they are looking at me through the glass, i know they are mad at me.....

They will be fine up to a week without food, but go get some fish food for them. Without knowing what kind of fish you have, it's impossible to tell you what else would be a decent food for them.

Fish can go for weeks without food. They are cold blooded and do not require daily feedings like mammals. I went on vacation for a month once and didn't feed my fish. When I got back, they were all still alive. I did a big water change, and fed them and everything was good from that point on.

If they are algae loving fish, try some finely chopped lettuce...
If they are meat loving fish, umm... they like mosquito larvae, so look for teeny tiny wormy looking things in ditches and standing water outside and feed them to them... my betta loves that :D Run the hose for a while or a weed whacker, that seems to bring the earthworms to the surface... chop them up finely. Maggots, anything wiggly, really.
Seriously though... keep two things of fishfood on hand all the time! It's not that expensive!

You have to go to the pet store or order some online. Fish can usually go a week without food but dont do it on purpose, fish will beg for food trust me okay mine are always hovering at the window when i get in the room. Get sum food!! :] good luck

It is true that a standard aquarium fish can withstand days without food............but................dont do that.....plsssssssssss
Dont let the fish starve.........that affects the fish's health badly......
Include variety of foods in fishs diet..........
dont just giv them the same food daily........alternate the food as you can..........it depends on you(how you find better diff. food)
The various food includes:
1.Earthworm
2.Mosquito or mosquito larvae(the best)-the larvae gives faster growth,better colour,better health...!!
Well you can get these larvae easily if there is mosquito in your area.............wat to do is.............just keep a small flat water container anything with water.......keep it still there for days.....keep it away from people visiting place........after a few days the water will be full o larvaes feed them...... :)
3.Pellet food which u get from the store...
4.other types of soft worms........
