Annie, if he is dumb enough to go for the easy score, then he probably isn't someone you want interested in you anyway. I can only imagine in the last 10 years how much harder it's gotten to be just a regular girl when it seems the teen girls are all whoring themselves for dates and attention. It was bad when I was in school, but it must be worse now. All I can say is, Bravo!. good for you for knowing what she is doing is not something you want for yourself. And also bravo for going to church. I hope that the knowledge that Liza is actually just a miserable girl looking for someone to validate her feelings (probably from lack of attention from mom and dad), makes you feel a little bit better.
I would avoid her and your mutual friends as long as physically possible. And remember, if your crush goes for her, he would have been expecting the same from you, so he's not who you thought he was.
Good luck!
Life is so much better after high school! Hang in there!

Hey you might stop and think, that mabey what people are saying about her is not true. If these people are talking about you behind your back how do you know what they are saying about you? they may be saying the same things about you. for example your mutual friend Joe. it sounds like to me he may be playing both ends. Also you might think about the fact that you don't seem to like her, what has she ever done to you? Is it that you both like the same guy that you don't like her? Church is a wonderful place to meet and greet people, why not one Sunday go over there and introduce your self to her, and mabey talk with her a little and get to know her? I think that you have both been listening to people say things that you don't know are true, but you are accepting them as facts. You also need to pray and ask what God would have yo do. I guess what I am trying to say is that just because you both like the same boy doesn't mean that you need to let jealousy affect you and make you thinks things about each other. besides if he chooses someone just because he has heard that she is easy means that he was not the one for you anyway. So to be honest it would not be her fault. ie quit making excuses for this boy behavior by blaming someone else. Oh by the way boys (men)typically think with the wrong head anyway, and the special ones are really hard to find. Don't give up on the one God has planed for you, when you and this special person God has planned for you is ready it will happen.

Is she really a whore, or do boys just like her? There is a difference, hun. Now, about this boy. If you like him, ask him out. Confidence is sexy, not looks.

is she actually sleeping with these guys? or just dating them. Being popular does not make you a whore, only your actions can do that. And spending your time calling girls you don't know "whores" makes you look prety bad as well.

Be yourself, he might not like the whore girl. You don't know what he is attracted to, so as long as you keep on acting like yourself, you will be fine.

Be yourself. Dont put out. Guys might date you if you start putting out, but they will not respect you. Also, those guys may want to have sex with her, but do you honestly think that they would take that girl home to meet their mother?
