By "Straight" viewing audience, I mean straight women as well as straight men...

Simple: because the majority of mainstream heterosexual porn is targeted at straight men. While there are a few straight porn videos made for women, which do, in fact, have a refreshing focus on men's whole bodies and faces, like Velvet Thrust, Playgirl movies, and Candida Royalle's films, most porn out there is being consumed by men, and it is understood that straight men do not care to see the faces of the male porn actors.
Too, much porn is made in a style that invites the [male] viewer to put himself in the man's position. Therefore a popular type of porn is that wherein the man is seated with a girl between his legs, stimulating him with her mouth or hands or even breasts- and all you see of the man is basically his penis, perhaps his legs. The catch here is that when watched, a man can easily imagine himself right there- that the penis is his penis. It plays into the fantasy, whereas an outside look of his face would break it.

Because they are intended for men, and straight men don't usually want to see the men's faces (probably because those men are better looking then the guy watching the video)

That sounds strange because in the most part of the porno videos men's faces usually are shown freely! Probably the films you watched will be an expection, try to change director..... or maybe they just are "illegal" videos!
