They could bring thier own. You could just tell them when you invite them. Or If you want to be nice then it depends on how many poles you have, how many guests you can accomodate on the boat, and how big you pole storage area is. Since I've never had a boat then this is just a guess!

Not really, but my husband always takes an extra 2, just in case somebody needs one. By the way, everybody leaves theirs in my house too when they're done. I don't know how they know what pole belongs to who, honestly they all look alike to me.

keep a few, theres nothing worse than fishing when your mate aint, they're a pain in the butt bored and annoying you if they're not and that means no fishing for you
