well steve, i am glad you asked, "i'll be right back" is actually derived from the medieval phrase "i hate you ,die!!".it was more of a battle cry back then. nowadays with pc standards and pratices being what they are we had to make it a little more friendly.so when someone say "i'll be right back" they basically want to stab you with a sword or an axe, maybe even bludgeon you with a mace. little history lesson for you to grow on.

I think they can be speaking the truth if they say they will be right back (so just wait until ) but if they say they will get back to ya

on the phone? or at the mall, going to the bathroom, etc.? i'd wait about 10 minutes, then i'd call them.
if it's on the phone, they can call me back when they get done with whatever they need to do.
