When you think of friendship what comes to your mind? I mean what do you expect from a friendship?

That's a darn good question.
I think friendship means more to me than others because I seek and maintain friendships with only those who reciprocate the relationship. I am difficult to figure out and loyal and a fierce proponent for my closest friends and I can't spend that kind of time/emotion on just anyone.
That said, I am still disappointed at times because people are people, but we can't stop seeking wonderful people since life is all about relationships.

Friendship is a rare relationship, in which you both do for each other, whatever at the time is needing done, without keeping a scorecard. Never discuss what you talk about with outsiders, be there in need and good times. Cover each others butts without question or hesitation. Then, be better than sisters.

There are different types of friendships...
you can have aquantaces.. and you can have friends that just hang out with oncei n a while, you have friends that you trust with more intimate details, and then you have BF and GF friendship.... friendship always boils down to trust, and caring.

I expect that my bff will always have my back. Sure, we get into fights once in a while, but we've been friends since kindergarten, and we've always made up like the day after. Once my bff started hanging out with this group of jerks and it changed her a lot, but then she realized that they weren't her real friends, and I think she grew as a person.

well i believe you have to have trust, love, and loyal. and of course respect of the other person its something that everyone should tresure like a precious jewel or something like that like you can have the so call friends who pretend and thats friendship to them but friendship is something thats rare and shouldnt be taking for granted, your friends should take up for you when someone trys to say wrong things to you like having your back and will treat you special like a friend should do um they should be able to have a shoulder to cry on when you need it and in return you should be the same way to them

Friend ship to me means the world some one you can trust you life with. They are Loyal Trustworthy allways there for you.some one that will never let you down. I had this 1 friend that i had for ever!!!! well she stabed me in the back but my other friends which are her friends to . they stood up for me because i wasnt there to devend my self .That was my most wonderful memorie of a friend i have ever had .

friendship is when you can always turn to that person for support, be there for eachother. Trust eachother over anyone else.
