Yes, America is a capitalistic society - minus government regulation over industry, or rather corporate regulation over other companies depending on if you bother to look to see what's really going on. For example: we used to be able to put freon in our own vehicles. Then one of the two major manufacturers of freon created a new product (supposedly environmentally friendly - if you believe all that hype) and lobbied Congress to outlaw freon. Success!

They cornered the market because their key competitor wasn't ready to sell a freon replacement product. Think this is an isolated event whereby corporations use the law to regulate their competition out of business? If so, you are naive.

Money has always run government and society throughout history. The thing of it is is that millions of ordinary people can outweigh the big monied interests if they really wanted to. Instead, they typically whine rather than become part of the solution.

Let's say America has 225M VAP (that's voting age population). Let's say just only 1/3 of the people decided they wanted to act instead of merely whine. In fact, only 1/3 of the colonists in America actually supported Independence/Revolution during the War for Independence from England.

So, that's 67.5M VAP. Let's say they each put their money where there mouth is and ponied up $50 each. That's $3,375,000,000 and a helluva campaign warchest to take back Congress and the Whitehouse.

But the truth is that election will already have been won. 67.5M votes will win just about any national election.

So now that you have a plan of action what are you going to do about it?

Not for the most part. Its people paying what they feel is a fair price for something. People dictate the market by paying for goods and services they value. Competition among companies is what keeps prices down.

Besides don't you do the same thing? Not like you are going to go to diner and give the waiter a huge tip and the restaurant all your money. You are going to pay what you feel is a fair price and if you do not feel the price is fair they will not get your business next time.

You've heard the expression,"He who holds the Gold, makes the rules"?

Well, when F. D. Roosevelt confiscated the American public Gold in 1933, "We the People" Lost the Power that owning the Gold had.

That money power is now strictly controlled by the IMF/Fed, and very unfortunately for most current Americans, they don't even realize it.

Only Ron Paul is smart enough to realize what has happened, and wants to return to a Gold standard as mandated in the Constitution.
Thank you.

Paul says to Timothy in I Timothy, chapter 6 and verse 10 the following: "For the love of money is the root of all evil; which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pieced themselves through with many sorrows."

Money is how we keep score.
We judge our governments by how they spend our money. We judge our economic systems by how much money we have to meet our needs. We judge our law enforcement by how well they help keep our lives and money safe.
Don't blame the thermometer because you are too hot or the bathroom scale because you weigh too much. Don't give money too much credit or blame, it is just how we keep track of what we have.
