the path to the truth..is self understanding, because:

human being = universe in mini version.

once you start understanding self, you'll understand people, and world around you :)

the path to truth is a simple that which u hold by hand or see with eye that is the truth that which u believe is only a belief and will change as your your want need or knowledge changes so i would tell u hold no faith in your beliefs for they are shallow truths if truth at all for the truth is a rock that never falls even when all around has been destroyed the truth will stand and that is why its the truth

Because 'truth' is just a generally accepted opinion, different people have a different perception of truth. For this reason everybody has a slightly different perception of their path to truth.
The answer that works for me is that you should always keep an open mind, just not so open that your brain falls out!

Somehow i get the feeling that there is a little demon in my ear, whispering that this desk in front of me is a desk.

Because we live with our 5 senses.
You can't prove anything is true, because you have to use your 5 senses to express things to others and yourself. and Descartes tells us this.
