The phone just started doing this. I can see the screen but theres absolutely no backlight so i can barely see whats there. anyone know how to fix this?

Ok im not talking about the bright backlight that shows up for a few seconds...im talking about threres NO LIGHT AT ALL lol. in other words, im using a flashlight to text.

Could you have accidentally changed the settings to say that the backlight never comes on? Check the settings first.

Try going to menu, settings, initial setup and scroll down to backlight. Then make sure the backlight isn't set to turn off after five seconds or something like that, then switch it to something higher.
