I bought this betta 3 days ago and it eats,and lays down all the fking day vertically with its mouth out of water..some one make it active or my Oscars will have a colorful treat tonight

Try giving it fresh water. Depending on the size of the container, it should be changed frequently. Sluggish behavior is often a result of poor water quality. Bettas are known for their slow metabolism and inactivity, so if you want a hyper fish, you chose the wrong species.

Sorry, but betas aren't very active fish, especially the males. Females tend to be a bit more active, especially when in groups. If you want an active, lively fish that's really fun to watch, try guppies. If your bent on keeping your beta though, try putting a mirror next to the tank from time to time. If he's healthy, he'll flare to try and scare away the 'other male'.

In addition to the probable dirty water issue, check his water temperature. If it's low a betta will be sluggish like that.

if the fish is sick which it sounds like it may be then feeding it to your oscars isnt a good idea. what size tank is it in? does it have a filter? do you check for pH amonia nitrite or nitrate? post more info and you can possibly get a better answer.

Look it up anywhere Bettas breath air not water. Is the tank covered. It maybe suffocating. And they don't move much but the mirror trick does work!

Fish eat as much as you feed them.DON'T feed it so often.
When he comes up , he's only coming up for air.Don'T kill it.
