because they lie and cheat to get what they want in life.

Maybe you expect too much from them. If you are from the extreme right, for example, and you're asking them to adopt your agenda, they're likely to reject your overtures in no uncertain terms. Would this be rude? Are you cramming your religious beliefs down other people's throats, or trying to get the gov't to do it for you? That would anger a Democrat. Do you call them "thieves" when they suggest our tax dollars might be better spent here at home, rather than on a war of aggression, or to prop up more corrupt Republican campaign contributors? That might elicit a rude response. I'm just wondering if it isn't a two-way street, and if you might be participating in these breaches of etiquette.

Maybe because they are sick of the religious right constantly forcing their beliefs into the political system in which there is no place for it.
I used to be part of the "religious right" but then realized that it is wrong for anyone to push their religious beliefs into the political arena.
I wouldn't want anyone that wasn't Christian to go and use the government to push their religion on me....so how is it any different when the religious right does it?

I think that they are just sick of all the BS of the Republicans...
I have no political affiliation...I am independent...and I will stay that way.
Repubs are just as rude too....it's both of them.

Actually the ones I find spewing the crudest language on this board identify with the GOP. So without further evidence of what you claim one can but believe it is pure unadulterated BS. Thank you very much for the 2 points.
