How much roughly does it cost to fit a small sink and loo into a box room upstairs in a house?

Currently the only bathroom is downstairs.

I have no idea how much it would cost so please give me a rough idea. I can buy a cheap loo and sink its more the rough cost of fitting it and plumbing etc that id need to pay out to get it done. Im located in UK.

The problem is in the waste connections. You need to make a drain connection to the waste pipe and need to make a vent pipe from that connection go up through the roof.

That waste is the biggest and most costly effort. Connecting hot and cold water is not as complex especially if the new one is located directly above the old one. The fixtures themselves are often loss-leaders at building supply places so you can get them cheaply. The room itself can be very simple to build and could be decorated easily at low cost since it will be small.

If you can find a used on, then you can save a lot of money. Plumbing it in will be the bigger cost. Sometimes you can find older loo's that will may it look like it has been there for a long time already and not so new looking. check the flea markets and plumbing supply store for the pros. somebody may be upgrading another house and throwing out the older one. As for the cost, call everybody in the phone book and ask for a price, you will be able to lock in your price much better.

A lot has too do with the amount of the work your doing, in the US you can buy a decent lav and toilet for about 300 dollars The labor can run any where from one to three thousand dollars depending on the variables such as access to sewer ,ease of running the vent, ease of accessing hot and cold water and running it. Your best bet call a local contractor for an accurate price it is not a long distance question.

go to any sanitary shop and estimate the price of the fittings according to ur choice - the expense highly depends on ur choice of fittings and then talk with workers - either u can apply them as day payment basis or contract basis.

if u give them contract, thats better, it takes less expense, becuase, if u go for day labour basis they will spend time intentinally for having more days and money.
