I am going to buy the E6850 chip as the price is MUCH lower than the top Quad-core chip and the performance differences are neglible. ...however, as Quad Core support games are going to be released in the next few years or so, I would hate to have to buy a new computer to take full advantage of it. Are there any motherboards that support the 1333MHz FSB and are easily upgradeable to a quad-core chip when the prices drop?

There sure are. I just did a quick search on Newegg and came up with this board from MSI that's got the NForce 650i chipset, got good reviews, and isn't too expensive at $150

Just make sure you get one with the Intel P35 chipset, as it will not only support the current quad cores, but the next generation ones as well that come out next year. Oh and just so you know, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 is about $10 cheaper right now than the E6850, in case you really do want the quad core.

Oh yeah there are plenty of them.

Here is a listing from Newegg for the Intel Quad and Core 2:

Intel made sure to make the chipset and pin count the same for backwards compatibility.
