I have to go out and I know they say it isnt safe to leave candles burning...I have them in a safe area (3 in 3 different rooms). I want the smell to really stick. Have you left your candles burning for a day???? They are the new glade candles with the ceramic glass.

I wouldn't feel safe about it. You never know what might happen - the glass the candle is in might break from the heat if there is a flaw in the glass, something might fall from a shelf over them and hit the flames or knock over the candle, if you have a pet, they may do something to knock it over - crazy unexpected things. I've even heard the new plug-in types aren't really safe to keep plugged in for too long - some of them have actually started fires.

If you have forced air registers in your house, they sell scented pads that you can put in them so when the blowers go on, they send a nice scent throughout the rooms they are in.

I remember years ago they used to sell pads that you could affix to your a/c filters that would send a fragrance throughout your house when the a/c would go on. I don't know if they still sell them or not but Home Depot used to.

I hope this helps!

NEVER leave anything burning if you are not there to watch it. Even candle warmers can be dangerous, jars can explode if they get too hot. There is a tart warmer that runs on a light bulb instead of a flame. The tarts heat up quickly so if you have been out it will only take a few minutes to rescent the room when you get home. Never leave candles burning unattended. No exceptions here. You just never know what can happen. A woman in an apartment where my Dad lived lit her candles and burned the whole complex down. You just never know. Be safe.

I love candles and burn them all the time but I would put them out when you leave. There could be some freaky thing that could happen and you could come home to the smell of burnt house instead.

it's common knowledge that you never leave an open flame unattended blow those candles out before you leave and before you sleep. draft of wind can easily pick up an objecyt which causes is it to burn. The odds of it statng a fire may be slim but you never know and thats why u always take precautions

Try a room spray...sounds safer. Bath and Body Works makes nice ones that last 2-3 hours.

Suggest you never leave them lighted. Not worth it.
Even a small light or incense can light a big fire.
