Why don't you just build a generator for 70 years, because in 200 years you will be dead.. Is this round trip or one way??? You can get a Titan II missile at the salvage yard. Rocket fuel and launch pad.. Space suit one way $8,000,000. After the launch it would take about 9 months to get their. You will be dead. No food and no oxygen 02... You can say you did this exploration and then work on something else.--OK .

It has been done before=we sent a rover on Mars. The Cost was high enough to cause a raise in tax for tax payers.

So the size and cost of a spaceship ,would depend how much taxpayers are willing to pay.
Of course, but you are going to live 200 years?

For you and a few close friends? And a generator with a few thousands gallons of fuel? NASA might bid that at somewhere around $200-400 billion, one way, just a guess.

I can get you to mars in just under 5 million dollars. Plus, I will hook you up with a solar powered generator that will last as long as you keep it in good shape.
Let me know if you are interested.

Since you're obviously such an economics expert, I can give you a precise answer -- a buttload.

And, oh yes, Einstein. I can build it for you. You want it when? Next week? No problem.
