In the morning, when Brian discovers that his house has been surrounded by followers, he comes downstairs and John Cleese's character introduces him briefly to "Mr. Papadopolous" who's going to loan them the mount for a sermon.
That's George Harrison and he briefly says "Hullo."
George Harrison put up most of the money for the budget of the film when other financing fell through because he wanted another Monty Python film. They joked that he's probably the only person on the planet who ever paid $2 million just to see a movie!

He was involved with the group of Monty Python and others as well as with the Beatles...
