I prefer circumcised guys, and when I had my son we circumcised him as well. In today's society it's rare to see an uncircumcised penis and when you do it's like "Wow, that is odd looking!"

My husband is uncircumcised, but we are having a boy and he will be circumcised. My friend had a boy and didn't circumcise him. It turned at that he keep getting infections and had to be circumcised at the age of 3 1/2 years old. After being there for that and knowing the pain he went through with being older, I didn't think twice when I found out I was having a boy.

I have one brother that's circumcise, he was the first boy born , he hates my mother for doing it to him. She did it because of pressure from my fathers family. I have 4 other brothers and they were not circumcised because its against my mothers beleaves. But i can tell you that you need to ask men not women about this.

I didn't have a boy, but I would have had him circumcised if I did. My father had to be circumcised at about 7 years old because of repeated infections, and his mother was very careful to teach him proper hygeine. It is rare, but it happens sometimes no matter how careful you are. Also, my husband is circumcised and comes from a culture where they circumcise males a little later in life. He would have insisted that our son be circumcised at birth to spare him from having it done later.

I don't have a preference in men, have been in relationship with both and it makes no difference to me.

My hubby is not circumcized, and we chose not to have it done to our boys, either. It is an outdated practice with no substantial health benefits. Anyone who claims it is "unsanitary" just doesn't know how to properly clean. Well over 3/4 of the world's population chooses NOT to circumcize. It if were truly that great of a health issue, we would see far more cases of disease globally. These health issues only arise when proper care is not taken to clean, and to use protection when having sex. If you clean it and use protection, there is not any increase in risk to a man's health.

Talk to your pediatrician and ask what the current medical research indicates.

my son will be circumcised just for sanitary reasons not religous ones. That is a personal choice every one has to make for them selves but my son will be and his father was too.

Who cares what you prefer -- YOU won't be the one having sex with him!!! There are a lot of others things you should base your decision on - whether or not YOU like circumcised men should have absolutely nothing to do with it. Try thinking about whether there is a real medical necessity to it (the official medical stance is "no"). Try thinking about whether you want to subject your newborn to the unnecessary cutting off of part of his body. As for it being more "sanitary" - if boys are taught how to clean themselves properly, then it can be equally sanitary. Do some research on the subject instead of thinking about it in terms of sex. I mean, do you really want your son having sex with someone who doesn't love him enough to not care whether or not he is circumcised?

I have 2 sons. and I did not circumcise either of them. There is really no medical reason to have it done. I know because I have asked many many doctors. They have had no problems with it.
