This is a great question and matchup.

I'm going to take team #1. Both New Orleans and St. Louis have dominant running games and very good passing games that contain many good receivers. However, Brees in my mind is just a better all around quarterback that has many more targets than Bulger.
Brees: Bush, McAllister, Colston, Copper, Henderson, Johnson
Bulger: Jackson, Holt, Bennett, McMichaels (Bruce is past his prime)
Since Brees is turning into a top 3 or 4 quarterback in the league right now and has many targets, I'll take him over Bulger. But you can't go wrong either way both are great quarterbacks that play their home games in domes.

Andre Johnson has quietly been a very good receiver the past 2 years. He gets tons of receptions and has really been a clear cut option as to who to throw the ball to. In New York, you have a struggling Eli Manning but more importantly guys like Amani Toomer, Sinorice Moss, Steve Smith, Jeremy Shockey, and Brandon Jacobs will be taking a lot of touches away from Burress. In Houston however, you have a spinning carousel at running back, a mediocre TE in Daniels, and no one knows who will be the #2 WR (maybe McCardell, Mathis, Walter, Jones who knows). I'll take Johnson over Burress right now.

A week ago I would've said Deion Brach over Marty Booker, no questions asked because Branch is a #1 WR with a good QB in Hasselbeck and a very good offensive line. Plus you have Shaun Alexander to take pressure off of you. However, with the recent DUI of charge of Chris Chambers, this may result in a suspension of some sort making Booker the #1 guy for awhile. And Booker will definately get the ball a lot because the only other guy that will help will be Teddy Ginn. This matchup right here is pretty much a deadlock because you got 1 talented receiver who is experienced and will get the ball thrown to him and you got another one who is even more experienced, a little less talented, but now has the #1 spot secured.

It comes down to this:
Brees > Bulger
Johnson > Burres
Booker = Branch

Team 1 wins

Is this a real question... ???? lol

Andre Johnson and Plaxico Burress are both #1 WR on there respected teams... But, Andre Johnson lead the league in catches last year..

Marty Booker and Deon Branch are both #2 WR on there respected teams.. Have basically the same stats..

Brees and Bulger also have the same basic stats but, Bulger is holding out and wants a new contract...

So, because of Bulger holding out and A. Johnson having the most catches last year.. I'll take team #1

Good Question tho

Marc bulger, plaxico burress and deon branch, since all of them are some of the best players in their positions and have decent players surrounding them on teams with the potential to be contenders
