Joy Bryant can't dance though!!! And Ciara can!!!! Also Ciara wouldn't need as much work as Joy!!!

Nah, there were rumors FOR THE LONGEST that a movie would come out with either Meagan Good or Destiny Lightsy [dancer], but they were confirmed FALSE. It was so weird though, because pictures of Destiny came out where she would take a picture of Aaliyah, reinvent the scene and made to look like her! So it was a shock when they said it was JUST A RUMOR. I was so excited. But maybe, I still hope, they will do one in the future. But I disagree about the whole Ciara thing. I think alot of fans would be mad considering many people compare the two artists. And besides, IDK, I just don't think Ciara would make a good Aaliyah. I think she's too popular, so it'd be weird. They should get a PROFESSIONAL, ACTUAL, actress though. Then again, who would play a decent Aaliyah? I guess most of us are just fixated on the fact that no one would be able to replace her, much less, PLAY her. But, of course, that's just my opinon lol. RIP AALIYAH ♥

I hope they do. She is my favorite singer and always will be. I dont think Ciara is a good choice because she really doesnt look like Aaliyah and she cant sing as good as Aaliyah.

I know awhile back they were talking about making a movie about her on her website.
They really do need to make one of her, she was a incredible, singer, dancer, actress, and just a woman in general. All the greats get a movie, so it is destine that she gets one too.
Ciara is great, but I don't think she is that comparable to Aaliyah. Whoever they chose I know she will be great at it.
Aaliyah was also suppose to play in Honey, and in Sparkle, but Raven Symone is going to play it.

I won't be surprise if they did. Aaliyah was at her prime when she died. I heard that she was going to be on the Matrix 2 and 3. That role got played by Will Smith wife, Jada. :)
