Only if one looks at the opposite side.....the answer is hate.
However on the more uplifting and human hope side there is nothing thicker than love...........it surrounds, it envelops and it contains all that life has to offer.

Hmmm. I'm confused. I at first thought maybe this was a metaphor. But, blood IS literally thicker than water. You got me. Thicker thicker thicker...doesn't sound like a word to me anymore! I'm really trying! How is love "thicker" than blood? I'll look at the answers & see if someone has a brighter light bulb....well, somebody used the word "stronger" & that's a clue, also most don't believe anything is "thicker" than love. As for me, love is important, but certainly not what makes the world go around. On the contrary. It's also transient, & it is an emotion. The one true thing, (to me), is our "coreGod"--that inner spirit & energy source from which all life evolves.

An interesting question. Nothing, but something try to be. Like many religions who seem to think that religion, is thicker than love. It is not. Faith can stand on equal grounds, or nearly equal grounds with love. But nothing is thicker.
So many people forget that love is so important. They let religion get in the way of who they love. Homosexuals, and bisexuals have the right to love who ever they want. Love is a beautiful thing, no matter who you love.
