It should dear, but, in many situations and especially if the offense was out of malice or anger the forgiver may choose to cut off relationship with the forgivee. I've seen this a lot between friends when there is a man involved! Not Ever Good. Good luck! Nana

An all encompassing forgiveness is only required of Christians. So as long as you ask a "true" Christian the answer is yes, otherwise its entirely up to the discretion of the individual being asked.

Not necessarily..It depends on what you did to offend the individual and if they feel like forgiving you. If you have asked for Forgiveness and they choose not to forgive you, not much else you can do..But you did try..

God will forgive always.
People will consider the depth of the injustice you have dealt to the cause for the request of forgiveness before deciding to forgive. s0, it depends.
Animals will simply choose to either run away or stay and be cautious. (unconditional love)

We may always forgive, but forgetting about it is reallllllly hard!

Nothing will be forgiven. if so people can go on doing sins and then come to God and ask for pardon. All religions are talking nonsense in this respect. No sin is forgiven and you have to suffer for this. Some stupid people have written forgiving in all religions and people go on doing all kind of wrongs and sins expecting god will forgive all of them.

I think it should be. I mean we are taught that God is a forgiving God. If he was not a loveing and forgiving God
then why did Jesus die for us?

For me its a judgement call. Because it is a verbal offering, and people lie. If your husband says Please forgive me, I will never hit you again, and he has never NOT hit you. Then the
forgiveness to offer him would be from across the country.
But if a person displays true repentance,(counseling, no hitting) Then I would be willing to give him a shot.) no pun intended).
