That's a good question. I imagine the reason is because the nature of broccoli it would not keep it's crispy texture that most people want when they are packed in the water or usual liquid that most vegetables are canned in. There can't be any other reason. I'm sure they've tried it and it didn't work or it would be common.

Because cans are harder to open than a bag, and what if there's an emergency where you really need to get that broccoli ASAP. Not everybody has a can opener in their pocket. Should those that do be the only ones who get to live?

I see ur point ,but broccoli ,would come out of the can like soup.Mushy ,salty ,grey green and smelling like a water treatment plant.Other than that would'nt be bad ,quick and easy.Work on it.

Because broccoli stems are huge! They were meant to be sold that big. They're only cut down into smaller bites. I wouldn't eat canned broccoli though... ugh.

I think its because Brocoli already has a slightly tinny aftertaste. Perhaps after experimentation, they knew if they canned it, All hope of a kid eating it would be gone

Veggies like broccoli and cauliflower would be soggy if they were packed in water. :)
