Here are a few highlights...but due to space, not the whole answers. I am not afraid to answer this since this is what I believe:
First, I consider myself a conservative Democrat. Thumbs up or down, I could care less so click your mouse away. But my freedom of beliefs make me a good American and you can't deny that.
Abortion - I believe a woman has the right to choose since it is her body
Health Care - I believe the government should take control of this. It's unfortunate, but this is where a capitalistic view fails and other countries have this part right. I think health care companies have become out of touch with the American people on their ailments. Their choice to deny claims for profit motive is unacceptable. 50 million Americans without health care is unacceptable. Universal health care has proven to be more favorable than the crisis we have now.
Tax - I agree with the conservatives here. The less we get taxed, the better. But I agree in a fair and balanced tax system. Handing out unfair tax breaks to corporations, oil companies, etc. etc. is not fair. They should pay their share, no more, no less. Handpicking areas such as the Estate tax which will only favor the richest top 1% of the country is also an insult to the other 99% who live here.
The War - Here is where I hate being called a Liberal since this is not the case. I would be the first to gear up and hit the front lines on a justified war such as WWI and II. There were no secrets, we knew who our enemy was, where they were and what they were trying to do. The Iraq war came about due to hand picked intelligence chosen by our current administration. We knew who our enemy was but didn't choose to pursue him in Afghanistan or possibly Pakistan. Meanwhile, the government is handing out no-bid contracts to Halliburton (a company our vice president used to work for) ironically. The soldiers are there to protect our profit motive, not to stop terrorism. Terrorism fighting should be based on intelligence, and not hand picked intelligence. If we needed to go to war with Saudi Arabia, so be it. We go where the terrorists are, not where the President wants us to go for reasons still undisclosed. And lastly for those that say some Democratic congressmen agreed with the war - so why shouldn't I? That is ridiculous since it was based on a false premise by Mr. Bush saying there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. (Again we go back to hand-picked intelligence)
Immigration - Everybody likes to place blame here on Congress, our past presidents and our current president. It is one of those issues where everyone should accept some responsibility for the problem. We need to tighten our borders and stop letting people in. Yea, yea, we kicked the native Americans out, I know, but that's all said and done. Can't go back and it will be a black mark in our history. But now is now and we cannot continue to be lax as despite history, this is our country now. We can't let everyone in. If we continue to do so, our country will be in a state to where it will just be as bad as our southern neighbor.
Global Warming - No question here, we need to start addressing this more seriously. I am also a critic about the science of it, who knows if it is correct or not. But I see that part as irrelevant. Even if there were truth to it, who are we to pass this possible global threat to our kids and grandkids and their grandkids. I am not a selfish bastard to ignore this fact and not care what happens when I die. I want to make sure life on this Earth will be the same for our next of kin.

I'm a liberal Democrat, and the short version of my beliefs is that people, not corporations, are the purpose of government. I'm for socialized medicine, strengthening Social Security, and a good public education system. I favor gov't policies that create quality jobs for people, and that solve our social problems through the judicious use of fair taxes. I'm against war, torture, domestic spying, and police-state tactics of every kind. I detest corporate welfare - if a company can't operate profitably, they should be allowed to file bankruptcy. I think lobbying in Washington D.C. is out-of-control, and should be outlawed. I could go on all day, but those are my major issues at present.

Pretty broad... You may be better off looking up the definitions of each on your own, then making your conclusions.
