what is the worlds strongest bear the Kodiak or the polar from a book i have it says that Kodiak bears are a bit bigger on average. please correct me if im wrong and tell me where you figured out this info. yeah any way i want to know the strongest

Well to start they are both extremely large. However polars are FAR more aggressive. Not to mention polar bear are far more skilled at taking down large game. Kodiak are more of a fish bear due to the fact that when push comes to shove they are lazy when it comes to hunting.

Polar: 10-12' (standing), males can top out around 1750lbs
Kodiak: 9-11' (standing), males can top out around 1550lbs

It would all depend on time of year, gender an a few other minor details, however I would tend to side with polar.

Yes, the Kodiak is bigger than the polar bear and is stronger, as one might expect. The biggest has the most sheer strength. I have read many books on zoology since I was a child. I have also read record books.
