I need to remove a huge oil spot in my driveway. I have been trying everything.

I had used Tide soap and a scrub brush. I have then used muratic acid to help clean the stain that was left. It made it less noticeable but you could still tell that it has the oil stain. good luck.

Get a can of comet some dish soap and put it on the spot. Take a wire brush and rub the oily area. Then rinse your troubles away. You might want to let the dish soap sit in the spot before rubbing with the wire brush.

Go to your local auto parts store and pick up any one of the available products made just for that purpose.
You should have no trouble with it.

If the slope is an issue, build a small dam to hold the chemical in place on the slope.

there are several ways depending on the amount of money you want to spend.

1. Lots of dish soap and a wire brush with lots of elbow greese.

dish soap is some of the best stuff for removing oil (breaks it down easily)

2. rent a steam cleaner and steam clean it off.

cat litter. put some down and grind it into the stain with your shoes or backside of broom. if that doesn't remove it completely use brake parts cleaner from auto parts store.
