i just got my period last year when i was 12 i just turned 13yesterday

It is very rare. Just don't leave a tampon in longer than 6-8 hours. Remember people can get TSS from other sources than tampons (Boys have even gotten it!).

As long as you change the tampon often (every 4 hours) and keep clean there is a very low risk but if you want to use them then try and read up about the symptoms and how to avoid getting TSS. Hope this answers your question well.

The chance is miniscule, like 1 in 10,000. Just take precautions and you'll be fine

It is not a high rish, but not none either. Keep them changed, don't keep them in to long, and you should bring the risk down to near zero.

most of us have the bacteria in us anyway, its only a small part of us that have a reaction to it. only leave your tampon in for 5 hours though

its rare but you should still take care of your self to try to prevent it there nothing really to worry about...
