We would like to name out daughter (Due in September) Elora Belle, but my husband likes it spelled Alora Belle.... It all comes down to if we want to call her Allie or Ellie... What are your thoughts?

My 5 year old daughter picked "Belle" as in beauty and the beast. Trust me it was better than Ariel :)

I perosonally like Alora Belle better
but when it comes to Allie or Ellie for the short versions i like Ellie
so this is a tough decision .. either way the names are beautiful
reminds me of a ... classy, strong, level headed, beautiful, feminie, girl ..
i love the name .. your daughter will be greatfull!

Alora Belle rolls off the tongue better than Elora Belle just make sure her initials wont spell anything weird

I prefer Allie, but I like the spelling Elora better. Hmm, this is tough...I say go with Alora. Good luck =)

I think Elora looks prettier, and I also like Ellie more than Allie. Either way though, it's still a beautiful name. You two chose well! Good luck to you!

Elora Belle is much more catchier and unique. There are a lot of Allie's out there and not enough Ellie's! I think Elora/Ellie is perfect!!

The way I see It!!I think it is better to use Elora Belle!It's more unique and catchy!!Elli one the other hand is nice!!But still you have to set things straight with your husband since he is also the father of the child!!!

They are both very nice but I would choose Elora Belle and call her Ellie. That seems cuter to me. Good luck to you.

I like Alora better, but Ellie is a cuter nickname....that is a tough one. It depends on what everyone calls her...if everyone is calling her by her nickname and not her full name I would go with Elora. (and vice versa)
