Wow ... I just checked the other 'deep' questions you've been asking ... how frickin' pretentious! Stick to Zeppelin!

Religion is basically like the difference between democracy and communism. Even if there is no open warfare it's still a batlle of differing ideologies.
Religion is man's way of defining his perceptions concerning what he does not understand, how he feels about the conclusions he has come to, and having a sense of not being alone.
Even athiests develope habits which are religious in nature in order to conform to natural human instinct toward the sense of community and I think this is also illustrated through most primate behaviour.

Religion is definitely not a "fool's asylum" as you call it, whatever that may mean. Religion is as much a part of the human soul as the human soul is part of God. I am talking about serious religion, not the trash which some con men try to sell.

To answer your question..I believe so, yes.
I would like to get off base for a second here and say that I think it's disgusting how some bored people will troll another person's questions. If you are going to troll a person and call them names make sure those names don't apply to yourself as well. I'm sorry but trolling is annoying.

Yes, you are correct! Organized religion is the oldest con game, as Robert S. DeRopps said. Priests demand that suckers pay them well for telling silly lies that seem attractive to gullible fools.

How can you even think that? All one has to do is look around themselves. Science has been trying to disprove the theory of an Almighty being for hundreds of years, and no matter how smart they think they are, all they can do is come up with assumptions. They also say the earth is billions of years old. They have also found out that carbon dating is merely guesswork. Enough said.

Question back, do you believe in a deity, or do you believe in churches? If it is churches, run by humans, you are probably rightly in an asylum...
