Vex means annoy or disturb by small things. I think the man used the word wrong for vexed means to discuss at length, such as a vexed point. So he thought vexed and vex are the same word. Some idiot. Have a good day Roland.

Haha...I only know what it means from readin Pride and Prejudice at school (Mrs Bennet always being vexed, lol) To vex someone is to annoy or upset them :-) So ur expression wud be an annoyed one I suppose.
