It's probably a bent axle or hub. Those bearings, if properly installed and maintained, should last 100k miles.
After you replace the bearing, take to a shop that does four wheel alignments and start from there. The computer will be able to tell if it's bent and how much.
After you confirm that it's bent, you can then find out whether to get a new axle or hub.

I'm not sure about the Focus in particular but it's very important with most cars that it is tightened to the correct torque. Over tightening will cause overheating and hence, a rapid breakdown on it's performance.

Must have been fitted wrongly either not tight enough or over tightened, are you pressing the outer race out? and are you pressing the new bearing in our are you tapping it home with an old socket and hammer? but yourself a torque wrench and find out the seeting for the hub nut.

I had a 1999 Focus and had to replace both rear bearing at 50k miles, Might just be wear and tear.

Possible bent wheel...

Possibly the first bearing replacement wasn't done right...

Several other possibilities. (all involving something else that is going bad and wasn't found the first time around)

i agree with Fred hh probably was installed wrong......put a timken bearing in.......that rear brake drum is also available with the bearing already installed in the drum i think its about $70.........i have pressed in many ford focus rear wheel bearings and never had one come back..........im sure its not being pressed in the brake drum right.....

mybe the bearing seat is causing the actual bearing to fail

bearing was fitted incorrectly probably hammered into place rather than pressed in
