You seem to have your facts mistaken my friend. "they started the whole thing in Bagdad" ? Excuse me? After we attacked that country and destroyed its governing body most of the people we were fighting were Iraqi Soldiers and people loyal to Saddam. If you choose to label them as terrorists then there is no way to reason with you. There were very very very few "terrorist" attacks while Saddam was in power. WE TOOK HIM OUT OF POWER thus it is OUR job to make sure that certain laws are obeyed. The liability falls upon the United States to provide security as we were the ones who sowed the discord. Obviously on a personal level on the person doing the murder is guilty of said murder. But the greater responsibility falls upon those who have power. It should be our moral obligation. We have also created many of these "terrorists" through our own military actions. We knew that there were serious religious divisions in that country and did little to nothing about it.
American Pride... yes unfortunately American troops DO kill dozens of civilians. It happens quite often. The only difference is that we say "OOPS SORRY" and pay off their families. As to people using civilians as human shields... the people fighting us are civilians....

It angers me also. American troops do not go killing dozens of civilians at random, but terrorists do. But America of course gets all the blame and Americans are called terrorists.

I agree. I don't understand that mentality. Near where I live the police started chasing a stolen car driven by a 15 year old thief. The kid tears through town and slams into a cab and kills two innocent girls. Who does everyone blame? The cops of course for chasing him. Sorry people the responsibility for those girls deaths lies squarely on the head of that kid.
Same goes for the terrorists. They use innocent civilians as human shields and if one gets killed, people over here blame our soldiers? I don't get it.

I think what this administration refers to as terrorists are simply people defending their country against us (the invaders) and religious extremists fighting each other in a civil war.

It's more convenient for some people to demonize the military and blame America for everything. They just don't understand the concept of "evil" in the world. It's all flowers and peace on earth to them. Must be nice to live in a fantasy.

I support President Bush's decision to destabilize Iraq and allow the Terrorists to get into Iraq. I think all Iraqis are terrorists anyway and when we kill women and children that just stops future terrorist Iraqis from cutting our heads off in the grocery store!

The same reason many people don't blame terrorists for 911.
It's called the Bush Derangement Syndrome.

I have to believe it's because they have not a clue as to what is going on over there and aren't interested in the truth.
We have to remember most of those people are among the clintonites and truth just isn't on the agenda.
