looked at the minimum requirements for a game i will order, our pc's RAM is 248mb (yes i know its terrible), and the minimum req. for the game is 256mb RAM.
Does it matter if i'm 8mb out??? everything else is covered (graphics card etc.)

You *sure* the graphics card is covered?

It'll run, but running at min specs means the game may hiccup every once in a while.

Look on the website www.srtest.com and select the game you are thinking of buying. It will then check your computer against the manufacturers stated specification and give you quite a detailed breakdown on whether or not your computer can deal with the game, even if you may be slightly below the recommended requirements. There are not loads of games on the site but they are adding more all the time, especially new releases.

This game will not work as when you install it takes more memory so you will be more than 8mb out you really need to buy memory and leave the game till last.
