If I had to chose right now I believe the Angles and Mets will be in the world series. Both the Tigers and Red Sox have very good teams and could make it all the way to the world series, but the Cubs would be a long shot. If you are just asking about only your two possible scenarios, I would say the Tigers and Cubs would be a better choice than the Red Sox and Cubs.

Well even though I used to think that the Red Sox facing the Cubs in the World Series was a sign of the apocalypse I would like to see the Red Sox vs. Cubs....I am a Red Sox fan first and foremost but if they can't win I would like the Cubs to win so this way one of the two is guaranteed to win...plus since the Red Sox won in 2004 I am pretty sure it isn't a sign of the apocalypse.

hey boston fans u guys know ortiz and ramirez are way below were they were last year right? they aint as good but still better then the yankees best players
boston also has a very good chance to make world series but if my tigers can actually make a trade happen and bring in a decent relief p or 2 we wud be set

Sox are going the distance this year. They got the one thing they were missing last year. Pitching and the offense is stepping up as well. Unstoppable in the playoffs
