It teaches you to think and gain a problem-solving attitude. Thus philosophy doesn't belong to a group of people. It is part of our maturation; when you are immature you are too emotional and nag all the time, when you are mature you think and try to find a solution to your problem.

It's about truth. So many people like to make up a truth that suits them, and they swear it's true without thinking it through.
Science and logic is about using reality and observations rather than our subjective thinking or feelings to make conclusions. Like the creationists who think evolution is wrong. They used to burn people based on that kind of thing. So I'd say it's been useful to have good philosophy to
-ah-hem- "man" AND woman.
My philosophy is that when the toilet paper is gone, you should replace it. Words to live by my friends, words to live by...

I believe that it has to do with exactly what your asking Experience, how we interact with our world and what we create around us, philosophy is an inward journey to truth about who I am.
