I drive 200km every day and am looking for a low MPG / ltr per KMs car. Am thiking of Audi A3, Golf, Skoda or Seat, all that apparently share the same engine. Looking for diesel. Can anyone advise me of these or others?

get a new one by fiat its not that small and gives a mileage of 15miles per liter......

Nearly all the top brands produce really economical models, Renault in particular but Ford and GM too. However, the VW range probably offers the best quality. Of the Japanese cars Toyota offer a great range including the Prius of course. If economy was my biggest requirement I would go for a 1.5 - 1.9 ltr diesel hatchback and would go for an Astra 1.7CDTI or a Golf 1.9 TDI.

I have a Peugeot 106 diesel...
best domestic diesel engine in the World...know as.
My car can do 72 miles per gallon...
but I cam across a customer of mine...who drove VERY carefully and got 86 miles per gallon...
hardly have to do any work to it... bril car..but pretty small.

Renault modus returns 60mpg on motorway in 5th gear/50mph(according to its dash computer)

volkswagon jetta tdi :) 44 mpg- best mileage available in america right now unless you count hybrids

i used to have a pug 306 1.9td and it was absolutely fab on low mpg, its also very comfy for long journeys.
