When I take off in my 92 GMC JIMMY my car dies out this is the first time it ever did that. just a few days ago i went for my oil change and had my ignition fuel replaced could that be the problem? or is it something else? urgent!!!!!

check fuel filters, spark plugs distributor caps etc. go to the place where you had the work done and make sure that they put that part on correctly

Not quite sure what an ignition fuel is, but it could be a fuel filter. Take the car back to the oil change place and have them look things over. I can't think why changing the oil would have any affect on the engine running. So I expect them to say that they had nothing to do with it.

You may want to have the error codes read at an auto parts store and see if that will give you a clue.. good luck.

Put some HEET in the gas tank. It removes any condensation present in your fuel lines. If that does not help, I would look into your Idle Speed Control.. or your spark plug wiring and/or gapping.

I always look at what was done recently. Ignition fuel? That's a new one.
