Did the tire repairman charge you a 'flat rate?'

He sure did and it was more than it was worth! I flat out refused to pay him. He even tried to * round it off * to the nearest dollar!

it depends on where you go... sears does, my friend went in there with 12 holes in his tires, and they fixed them for 15 dollars a tire... but that was a few years ago. when i went to tires plus for 2 holes they charged me 17 dollars per hole, even though it was only 1 tire. ive also had a couple tires that just couldnt be fixed, even though the hole was in the tread. the holes were just too big to be patched.

If it is only flat on the bottom turn it upside down.

no.because the other tires just swelled up on me.
