Nobody likes criticism...
But there is such a thing as contructive feedback... It's a fine line, but criticism tends to be negative and point out your flaws... Nobody want's to hear they have flaws and if somebody then tells you what to do, you'll not respond to them.
Constructive feedback is different... It concentrates on areas you could improve... Not "Youre rubbish at that" but "let's improve on that"... Then you can take suggestions on how to improve and use them.
Unfortunately, some people can't distinguish between the two... And personally, if I get criticisesd about anything, I criticise right back!

being told how, when and what to do is CONTROL...but then to be criticized about doing what the controller demands well that is more than most of us can be expected to take unless it is by the dreaded PARENTS then we don't have much choice until we turn 18..life is always about US and what we want...disappointing huh?

Not at all... constructive criticism is ok though.. but not about how I should live my life.
