interesting question, have a star! for some of my thumbs down (racist, homophobic, abusive answers and questions) i would give them a thumbs down regardless. for others, i might think a bit. cool question!

Of course there would be less, while some people give a thumbs down for a genuine reason others do it because they're petty little cowards.

As long as profiles were able to be set to 'private' I don't think it'd make a difference.
People would still thumb-down because they'd know that others wouldn't be able to get their own back.
Ya know?

I don't know about that - but there would be FAR fewer Trolls if people actually knew WHO these hate-filled, racist, pathetic little losers really were ;);););)
