Will this inspire the race to take back its pride, and get off public assistance and to stand up for their "babys mama" and not abandon their families?

I am south korean and if usa elected a south-korean, i would believe that one day koreans could go to the moon!!!

i doubt it. they will probably expect special treatment.
the only way they will change is by respecting themselves and stop acting like idiots.
they have to get off their own butts and get jobs, stop breeding like crazy, get educated, stop killing themselves over nothing... stop depending on everyone else to do everything for them.
they need to work for what they have/get/need instead of expecting hand outs just because they are black.
i'm sorry nobody but your own people sold you and sent you to america... go knock on their door for hand outs.

Political correctness means to look over your shoulder when you speak about african americans, because Big Al Sharpton may be watching. Bill Cosby tries to talk about what you are saying, but he is talking and few are listening. Jesse Jackson and Big Al have somehow been anointed to speak for blacks, and have been called "race card pimps". I think a role model is what barak will be. I am not african american, but since you are an engineer you realize that normal is just a setting on a washing machine. Tuskegee University graduates some great african american engineers, but I do not know what fields of engineering. I admire south koreans, but some americans may envy your success.

No. I dont think it would. But I think if the average black american act differently, it might be more likely for one like Barack Obama to be President.

But Obama will never be President. Not because he is black, but because he happens to named too badly. I mean there are just going to be too many people looking at his name alone and asking themselves "Do we really want Barack Hussein Obama to be leading us against Islamic facist?" I mean he shares one name with Saddam and his other name sounds way too much like Osama Bin Laden to not make people wince at the sound of it.

No one heard of BARAKA OBAMA until the media made him known. This man has absolutely (NO) agenda for the USA. He is ANTI ISRAEL, AND ANTI CHRISTIAN. The church he belongs to has no regards for Israel, in 1973 the first church to have a gay minister. He stands for everything God is against. BARAKA, AND HILLARY FOLLOW SATAN, AMERICANS WILL FIND OUT THE HARD WAY IF EITHER ONE IS VOTED INTO OFFICE.
