You could tell the way you would be able to tell with any other guy Dancer or not... Maybe you should put this question in the single and dating category.

There's two kind of ways guys act when they like you.
1. They'll spend a lot of time talking to you and asking you to dance. They're very flirtatious and will show off during the dance.
2. They're nervous and apologizes profusely if they feel their dance is not perfect, even when the follower can't tell that the leader made any mistake. They make extra effort to be sensitive on their leads. They will ask the follower frequently if the moves that they're leading is satisfactory for the follower.

Same way as with any other guy - you'd notice... he'd give you some hints. He'd look at you more often than normal or try to talk to you. He'd compliment you on your dancing perhaps.
You dance ballroom. You, unlike many other people, know that ballroom guys are normal regular people. LOL.

He would act nervous or really polite around you, or apologize a lot if he did a move wrong when he was dancing with you. Also, if you were doing a lift or dip or anything and he dropped you, he'd get really worried and feel bad about it.

i dont see why ballroom dancing has anything to do with it...
but i guess he just acts the same way any other guy that likes you would act. he looks at your face for longer than he needs to when talking to you, and he smiles at you all the time.
things like that.

Well you would know by asking him!
A few signs might be he might show off when dancing around you, to get your attention. Or if he's shy it might be opposite, he might get nervous when dancing around you. If he smiles at you or looks at you when your around. If he goes out of his way to just say hi or talk to you.

You ask him, "do you wanna go out to dinner?" If he says yes you know one of two things, he's hungry, or he likes you, or both.
Then at dinner, say, "I've noticed you looking at me a lot, do you like me?"
And voile! you have your answer.

it doesnt matter if he likes you, you should keep your dance strictly bussiness, if you get into a realtionship and break up then imagine THAT!
