Sorry I assumed this was well known information. Basically the US is using nuclear waste in misiles & dropping them on Iraq. The powder spreads & is leathal to anything that comes into contact with it. Think poison powder floating everywhere.

Terrorists are beheading people, and doing other things so disgusting and savage that I can't even write it here.
But you take time to complain about traces of uranium.
It is always interesting to see what outrages, and does not outrage, people on this site.

If you are talking about the manufacture of sabot anti tank rounds then yes. Depleted uramium is safe. Depleted uraniuum is also very dense. For the uneducated this means that an object accelerated to very high velocities whcih is also very dense will have a great deal more ability to penetrated what it hits. This is very BASIC science. If you graduated high school, you should knwo this by wrote.
The background radiation is elevated yes, but so is granite. You kjnow granite right the stone used to build a large number of buildings and used as coutner tops in homes?
You would be supprised!
Of course liberls don't seem to care about the truth. Sensationalism and such trump all in the liberal mind.

Wait a minute! Are you telling us that the U.S. is using nuclear waste in misiles & dropping them on Iraq?
Don't they know this will make them more effective?
I can't speak for others but shouldn't we be using more friendly weapons. I mean what happened to the old fashioned weapons we grew up with? Sure they were less effective and maybe a bit provincial but this new situation you're describing sure takes all the sport out of warfare.
Leave it to the U.S. military to take all the fun out of killng the enemy.

In case someone is in need of a link about depleted uranium, here it is. It's not just the enemy who is concerned about this.
There are differing points of view on this, but certainly this issue needs to be studied carefully, both from a humanitarian viewpoint and from a desire for our troops' safety.

They are dropping it from those black helicopters to brainwash everyone to obey Dick Cheney who is actually a robot controlled by aliens..... the only way to counter its effects is to wear a covering of foil around your head. and not just any foil but the foil that is around those Andes creme de menthe chocolates
